The Chorus is fortunate to have a dedicated group of alumni who serve three-year terms on our Advisory Council (AC). The AC helps advise Chorus officers on all aspects of running the group and provides wisdom that the members have gained through their time in the Chorus and since graduating.

CAAA was founded in 1990 to serve the needs and interests of Asian alumni, Asian students, and the University. We sponsor activities and events that help promote community and connectedness among our alumni members including professional development and social networking events, undergraduate support activities, guest speakers and community service. Each year, CAAA awards two Cornell Tradition Fellowships and one Scholarship to Cornell students.

Founded in 1976, the Cornell Black Alumni Association (CBAA) was conceived as an organization devoted to providing a communication network for Black alumni. Over the years, CBAA's mission and scope of activities has expanded, resulting in myriad programs that have a direct and significant impact on alumni and future Cornell students.

The Cornell Latino Alumni Association (CLAA) was founded in 1994 with the mission of representing and promoting the needs and interests of all Latino alumni as they exist at Cornell University and beyond. By definition, CLAA’s constituency is broad and encompasses Cornell University’s Latino American, Latino Caribbean, Latin American, and Latino European alumni, which collectively comprise about 15% of the total alumni population.

Interestingly, Cornell’s connection to Latin America can be traced back to the first class of the University which included students from Brazil. In fact, there were enough Brazilian students throughout the nineteenth century at Cornell to support a Portuguese-language magazine, Aurora Brasileira. Today, Latin Americans are active in most of Cornell’s colleges and schools and throughout alumni associations with diverse strengths including agricultural sciences, anthropology, art history, city and regional planning, government, history, labor relations, languages, literature, and nutrition.”

Membership in CLAA is open to all Cornell University alumni holding undergraduate or post graduate degrees from Cornell, and Cornell faculty and staff members who support the purposes and goals of CLAA.

The Cornell Military Network (CMN) promotes Cornell University's land-grant mission by organizing military-affiliated Cornell alumni across generations in support of the educational, professional, and social advancement of service-minded Cornellians. By definition, CMN's constituency is broad and includes anyone who has served in uniform, performed civilian national defense work, or is interested in military affairs.

Cornell's land grant mission includes a responsibility to teach its students military tactics. Cornell was founded in the wake of the U.S. Civil War, and its students, staff, and faculty have had military experience from the beginning. Cornellians continue to serve in a variety of military roles to this day.

Membership is open to anyone who has attended Cornell for at least a day, taught at Cornell, or worked for Cornell and who supports the purposes and goals of CMN.

The Cornell University Sprint Football Association ("the Association") has been
formed to support, encourage and promote the sprint football team and program at Cornell
University ("the Program") and the Eastern Sprint Football League; to provide input and
supervision over the funds contributed by alumni and supporters to the Program and to the
Robert Cullen Fund; and to work with the alumni, the coaching staff, Cornell University, and its
Athletic Department to maintain the quality of the Program.

Mission
The purpose of the Cornell Track Association is to support, encourage, and promote the Cornell men's and women's track and field and cross-country teams at the University. Utilizing the Jack Moakley Fund and other specified funds as repositories for gifts and bequests, the Association shall provide the means to assist in enriching the sports as administered by the Department of Athletics and the track and field and cross-country coaching staff.

First organized in 1979 and then incorporated in 1980 as the Cornell University Gay and Lesbian Alumni Association (CUGALA), we are one of the oldest and largest LGBT university alumni organizations in the country. In 2020, we voted to change our name to Cornell Pride LGBTQIA+ Alumni Association (Cornell Pride). Cornell Pride’s mission is to engage and foster an inclusive global Cornell by leading, programming for, communicating to and supporting the LGBTQIA+ community and by serving as the voice of LGBTQIA+ alumni at the University.

We achieve this mission in a variety of ways, such as sponsoring social and networking events on campus and across the United States, participating in community service and student mentorship programs, organizing regional chapters, and supporting LGBTQIA+ initiatives and institutions at Cornell both financially and through leadership. Pride also serves as the voice of LGBTQIA+ alumni to the Cornell Alumni Association and regularly cosponsors events with other Cornell alumni groups and the LGBTQIA+ alumni organizations of other colleges and universities.
